About MDA

The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) is a national voluntary health agency funded through the support of community events, companies and organizations in the areas that we serve. In Northern California, MDA serves over 1,200 client families by conducting research for a cure to over 40 neuromuscular diseases; providing medical care at the UC Davis Medical Center clinic, support groups, durable medical equipment, communication devices, and MDA Summer Camp for ages 6 to 21.
